Matthew Stanley, founder of Raised On Blacktop® and paving foreman at American Pavement Specialists has been in the asphalt industry his entire life. Matthew is known industry wide for his unique outlook in the marketing world, taking a non-traditional approach to promote not only his family business but also starting the Raised On Blacktop® brand.

 

Fast forward to 2023, the APS & ROB, are amongst the most well-known brands in the asphalt industry. ROB has multiple brand partnerships with leading paving manufactures. While APS has become the first ever John Deere and Wirtgen Group brand ambassadors in the road building space. Matt's passion for the industry comes from his appreciation to the generations before him that paved the way.

Brandon Stanton is a founding partner of 405 Media Group LLC, a digital marketing company specializing in brand positioning, new customer generation, and client retention. With locations in Scottsdale and Minneapolis, 405 Media Group produces a unique product offering in which they take on the role of the “marketing manager/department” for companies in blue collar industries.

 

With an industry-leading client retention rate and a diverse product line (SEO, website builds, PPC, review tools, social media, video, print materials, etc.) 405 Media Group positions its clients as market leaders while providing outstanding returns on marketing dollars. Brandon has appeared on podcasts, interviews, spoke at national expos and marketing conferences and even co-hosted a weekly radio show on a major Minneapolis radio station.

 

Brandon holds a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin Stout and completed his graduate work at Minnesota State University in Psychological Aspects of Performance with an emphasis on motivation.

With over a decade of experience in the field of marketing, Miranda’s journey began as a high school Science teacher, where she honed her skills in communication, creativity, and problem-solving. Miranda crossed paths with a franchise owner of Chick-fil-A, joining the team as the Director of Marketing. During COVID, Miranda ventured into the digital agency realm, where she spent two years working with diverse clients across various industries, expanding her horizons, exploring cutting-edge marketing strategies, and refining her skills in digital marketing, social media campaigns, and customer engagement.


She met Brian Hess, CEO of The Pavement Group and was invited to join their team as the Director of Marketing. In her current role, she leads a talented team and spearheads marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth for our organization. Throughout her career, she has developed a deep understanding of the ever-evolving marketing landscape, and is committed to staying ahead of the curve. Miranda is thrilled to share her knowledge and experiences with fellow professionals at IGNITE and is eager to engage with like-minded individuals, exchange ideas, and inspire others to reach new heights in their marketing endeavors.

For nearly 11 years, Jessica Lombardo has been creating informative content for the asphalt paving and pavement maintenance industries.

Lombardo held her role as editor-in-chief of Asphalt Contractor & Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction magazines for six years, helping the brands gain notoriety and a strong digital presence. 

​

In 2022, Lombardo was named Content Director for AC Business Media’s Marketing Services team where she works with clients to grow their reach through social media, content, video and more.

​
