“You row an ocean by taking one stroke at a time,” says Adam Kreek -- and he should know. In 2013, Adam made the first-ever attempt to row unsupported across the Atlantic Ocean from Africa to America ( the subject of the NBC Dateline Documentary, Capsized). That was five years after the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, where Kreek and his team won Gold by just over one second—or 220 inches. Inch by inch, the inches added up!

In this adventurous, end-of-Ignite session, Adam takes the lessons he’s learned as a professional sportsman -- with more than 60 medals (43 golds) -- and brings them to the business environment. He’ll show you why the time to take time is…now! And he’ll help you make the changes needed so you can enjoy inch-by-inch improvements that will create and sustain peak performance. Too often, we cling to the easy solution and seek the quick success, but quick-and-easy fixes do not drive excellence. Just as his team won the Gold inch by inch, you build your business by solving one problem at a time – inch by inch. Progress, Adam says, is incremental. But incremental progress means you win the race…by 220 inches!

From this world-class adventurer and author of The Responsibility Ethic, you’ll learn the essential skills that will lead you to sustained results. You’ll learn how to:
● Focus on what you can control
● Embrace a growth mindset: inspire intrinsic persistence
● Reject instant gratification: find happiness in effort, drive and process
● Do the work

It's not sexy but it’s true: Inch by inch…then repeat! This session will show you how.
