Justin Meier, President of The Surface Masters, founded the company in 2011 and plays an active role in the day-to-day operations. Currently, Justin is responsible for setting the overall direction and vision for The Surface Masters, Inc. while still overseeing sales, marketing, operations and strategic initiatives.
Under his leadership the company has been named to Inc. Magazine’s Top 5000 (Inc. 5000) Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America List and has ranked as a Top 50 Contractor in Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction Magazine 8 years in a row from 2016 - 2023. Locally, the company was awarded the Pacesetter Award by the Atlanta Business Chronicles which highlights the top 100 fastest growing Atlanta-based companies in 2021 and 2023. The most recent and highly respected accolade the company achieved was being named the National Contractor of the Year by Pavement Maintenance Magazine.
Along with his accomplishments and recognition within the industry, Justin has written several technical and business articles, as well as presented at many professional and industry conferences.

Chad Buck is a successful businessman with a diverse range of experiences and accomplishments. For the past 30 years, he has been involved in the asphalt paving and concrete industry, building a reputable and thriving business. His dedication and expertise in the field have made him a prominent figure in the industry. Aside from his work in asphalt paving and concrete, Chad, along with his wife Amy, has also ventured into the ice cream business. They own and operate two ice cream stores, which have become beloved destinations in their community. Through hard work and entrepreneurial spirit, Chad and Amy have created a sweet success story.
Chad's commitment to his community is evident through his involvement in various organizations. He dedicated eight years of his time and expertise to the better business bureau, where he sat on the board and contributed to promoting ethical business practices. Currently, Chad serves on the board at the Maumee River Yacht Club, a prestigious organization that fosters boating activities in the region.
Throughout his career and personal life, Chad exemplifies hard work, dedication, and a passion for both business and leisure. For nearly 11 years, Jessica Lombardo has been creating informative content for the asphalt paving and pavement maintenance industries.
Lombardo held her role as editor-in-chief of Asphalt Contractor & Pavement Maintenance & Reconstruction magazines for six years, helping the brands gain notoriety and a strong digital presence.
In 2022, Lombardo was named Content Director for AC Business Media’s Marketing Services team where she works with clients to grow their reach through social media, content, video and more.
